The "Take Me There" portal is designed to be a one-stop-shop for
everything an internet user needs or wants fast with the ability to
personalize and customize the content and the look and feel. Below is a
listing of features that a person can customize and add personalized

1.) The Sights & Sounds module allows users to personalize the photos that
display in the Sights & Sounds window by linking to their Flickr or
SmugMug accounts.
2.) Add links to your favorite music & podcasts with the Audio Manager.
3.) Watch your favorite online videos and television shows through the
Media Tuner.
4.) Do you have multiple email accounts? No problem. Create links to
them all in one place.
5.) Do you want your favorites & bookmarks to go with you? Type in your
Delicious ID and "presto," your bookmarks are one click away.
6.) And finally, are you tired of checking 20 different blogs and
MySpace pages to stay connected with friends or interests? Add your
favorite MySpace, Facebook, or blog's RSS feed and get updates instantly.

Wouldn't it be nice to have all your favorite places to shop all in one
spot and have instant access to many more? Now you can. Place up to 12 of your
favorite retailers or merchants on your homepage and have access to many more
through the "Shopping Categories" button. In addition, to save you time
and money, each vendors timely "Hot Deals and Promotions" show up as
announcements on your homepage and in the category section.
First To Know
As a way for businesses, organizations, and charities to stay connected
with their supporters, the First To Know module displays the latest
announcements and updates via a blog. With email continuing to get less
and less reliable, having a communication tool on someone's homepage is a
perfect solution. Organizations can register and add their blog's RSS url
and logo and have a unique page that communicates to their employees,
friends, and supporters. If an organization currently doesn't have a blog
service, they can use our built-in easy to use blog tool which is accessible when
they log in.
"Quick Click" Customizable Modules
In the body of the "Take Me There" portal, you will find various "Quick
Click" modules that a person can customize and add personal content, such
as weather, reminders, calendar, news, etc. In addition, there are
features like the Wikipedia search tool and the local links search engine.
